人们仰望星空,却往往不会赞美某一颗星星。星星离人们太过遥远,过于遥远的距离仿佛消去了它们之间的差异。
人们说,他们爱着星空。这份爱是广博的大道理,是不说也罢的薄情。他们爱着星空,却叫不出大多数星星的名字。
反过来又如何?从星星那样的高度往下俯瞰,从那太过遥远的距离以外观察。它们——星星们或许也只是广博地爱着人群,而不会有差别地爱着某个个体。
我问,可否施与我和人群所不同的,差别之爱。
我说,我也想成为离人群过于遥远的星星。
它问,你能否忍受人群施与你的广博之爱。
它问,你是否给予了星星,你的差别之爱。
我说,我想要差别之爱,来自星星的差别之爱。
它说,你想要来自人类的差别之爱。
星星不会说话,星星也不会去爱。会与某个谁交谈的只有人类。会爱上某个谁的也只有人类。
不会说话也不会去爱的星星,被某个谁孤独地爱着。
今晚又是一个宁静的夜晚。人们很早就入睡了,昆虫们大抵也入睡了,以往偶尔能听到的虫鸣现在不见踪影,能够听到的只有远处流水的细语。听觉上的沉寂仿佛是加强了视觉上的感知,除了惯常的那一两颗明亮的星星,似乎今晚能看到更多的星星点缀在夜空上——像烛火般的星星,一阵风吹就会熄灭的模样,却一直闪烁着光芒。

在近日举行的 WG22 会议上,草案 ISO/IEC C++2b 获得批准,这次提案是对 C++20 标准的一项修订。由于该提案在 2021 年发布,所以又被称作 C++21。
C++21 主要对以下部分做了修订:
双问号 ??
运算符
双问号运算符又被称为合并运算符,如果此运算符的左操作数不为 false,则此运算符将返回左操作数;否则返回右操作数。
双问号运算符实际上是对 ?:
运算符的一种简化形式。比如a = (a % mod) ? (a % mod) : mod
在 C++21 标准中可简写为 a = a % mod ?? mod
。
此外,双问号运算符还支持连用。比如以下代码:
int a = 0, b = 0, c = 3, d = 9;
int e = a ?? b ?? c ?? d;
与以下代码意义相同:
int a = 0, b = 0, c = 3, d = 9;
int e;
if (a) e = a;
else if (b) e = b;
else if (c) e = c;
else e = d;
pipe
关键字
C++21 将 shell 语言中的 pipe(管道)引入到了 C++,它的意思是「将左操作数作为参数传入右边的函数」。比如 MyFunc(123);
在 C++21 标准中可写作 123 pipe MyFunc;
。
需要注意的是,pipe
右边的函数必须有且只有一个参数,才可使用 pipe
关键字。
单独使用 pipe
可能体现不出它的便捷性,但是,如果你有类似这样的代码:
Debug(Output(Encrypt(Input()));
就可以使用 pipe
关键字写作:
Input() pipe Encrypt pipe Output pipe Debug;
注意「左操作数」是一个值而不是一个函数,所以示例中的 Input()
还是需要加括号。
对 auto
变量定义的加强
auto
关键字在 C++11 标准里被改变了含义。我们可以使用 auto
关键字来代替类型名定义变量,例如,auto a = 123;
会被编译为类似下面的代码
int a = 123;
但是在之前的 C++ 标准中,不可以使用 auto
连续定义多个变量,如 auto a = 123, b = 45.6, c = 'A';
这样的代码在之前的标准中会报错。C++21 改进了这一点,编译器会分别确定每个变量的类型。现在上面的代码会被编译为:
int a = 123;
double b = 45.6;
char c = 'A';
使用 auto
作为函数的参数类型
C++14 引入了将 auto
作为函数返回类型的语法,在 C++21 中,函数的参数类型也可以定义为 auto
了。编译器会将每个类型为 auto
的参数生成一个匿名模板(unnamed template)。

上面例子中的代码会被编译成类似这样:

注意,上面的示例只供理解使用。事实上匿名模板是由编译器自动生成的且没有 __T

之类的名字。也就是说你不能使用如 Foo(123, 123)

弃用 inline
关键字
由于现代编译器对代码的优化,C++21 标准将弃用 inline
关键字,为了保持对先前 C++ 标准的兼容,该关键字可以使用但不再具备任何实际含义。
#include 预处理指令的加强
当预处理器发现 #include
指令时,会查看后面的文件名并把文件的内容包含到当前文件中,即替换源文件中的 #include
指令。
在先前的标准中,#include
只能本地目录中查找文件。C++21 扩展了该指令,使得其可以使用 HTTP 文件传输协议,例如:
#include "http://mivik.gitee.io/mivik.h"
使用 HTTP 文件传输协议的 #include
会以 「HTTP 本地文件 C++ 标准头」的顺序递归寻找依赖。比如以下代码:

注意:在当前最新的 g++ 10.3.1 中,该特性被标记为实验性功能(Experimental),需要手动在编译参数中增加
--allowed-include-protocol=file,http
来开启此功能。

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bonds which have connected them with another, and to assume among the Powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.
That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.
That whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience has shown, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.
He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.
He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.
He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.
He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.
He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws of Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.
He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.
He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our People, and eat out their substance.
He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.
He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.
He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:
For quartering large bodies of armed troops among us;
For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from Punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States;
For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world;
For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent;
For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury;
For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences;
For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies;
For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the forms of our Governments;
For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.
He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.
He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the Lives of our people.
He is at this time transporting large armies of foreign mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.
He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.
He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.
In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.
Nor have We been wanting in attention to our British brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpation, which would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. Sometimes it thought itself human, on the thin crust of a spinning globe of molten rock. The light was information from a star, and it could burn your skin from a hundred and fifty million kilometres away.
